When we started this family business, for some reason we thought that all the tourists in Hungary have already seen the popular attractions of Szeklerland, such as the Békás Gorge, Lake Gyilkos, or Lake Szent Anna, so we had to show them something new.
That's when the idea came up to show them what they can't see as tourists, what only the Szeklers living here could see. Let's take them off the artificial road by jeep and drive them into the dense pine forests, take them up our mighty mountains, show them our sparkling waterfalls and our heart-warming clearings.
Let's get them out of Hungary in our own cars, so that people who don't want to or can't drive hundreds of kilometres can see these wonders. Let's take them up into the mountains by jeep, so that even those who can't walk tens of kilometres can get there, because bus tours only show you what is close to the asphalt.
Let's show the mainlanders that Szeklerland is much more than the Békás Gorge and the Parajd salt mines. It is full of wonders that cannot fit on a flyer.
So that's how we started, years ago. Now we have shown thousands of Hungarians the real face of Szeklerland, where they could meet natural wonders, traditions and the Szekler way of life.
